Benefit Plans
IAI specializes in the design and administration of defined benefit plans. Included in our annual administrative services are: preparation of an actuarial valuation for the plan, including certification by an Enrolled Actuary, certification of funding status as required by law, calculation of the maximum deductible contribution (when applicable) and the minimum required contribution to the plan and preparation of required annual funding notice for distribution to participants. IAI will also prepare the 5500 series forms for Internal Revenue Service and Department of Labor compliance and the benefit statements for distribution to each participant which indicate his or her status in the plan. IAI maintains complete computer records to accurately reflect the cumulative status of each participant in the plan. Trust accounting and preparation of reports to the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation are also provided if required. If requested by an auditor, IAI will also prepare reports and calculations required to comply with Financial Accounting Standards Board Statements 87, 88, 132 and 158.
